Ontario MLS® Home Sales Mark Huge Rebound in January
Residential sales activity reported through the MLS® Systems of real estate boards in Ontario numbered 9,509 units in January 2024. This was a sizable gain of 21.4% from January 2023. Months of inventory numbered 3.1 at the end of January 2024, down from the 3.3 months recorded at the end of January 2023 and above the long-run average of 2.8 months for this time of year. The number of months of inventory is the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity.
